Thus, for studios, a downfall of 3% has been noted in regards to the rent values requested from Landlords, from 273 euro to 263 euro. For 2 room apartments, the reduction was of 2%, the rent reaching 354 euro in January2010, from an initial 362 euro in December 2009.
The smallest reduction was witnessed for 3 room apartments, the average rent reduced with 1%, from 497 euro to 490 euro.
Compared to January 2009, the rents in Bucharest and Ilfov decreased with approximately 26%. For studios, the average rent values lowered with about 27%, from 360 euro in January 2009, to 263 euro in January this year. For properties with 2 rooms, the reduction consisted in 26%, from 480 euro in January last year to 354 January, 2010. As for 3 room apartments, the average rent decreased from 641 euro to 490 euro: 24% reduction.

The first month in 2010 has failed to bring significant changes compared to December 2009 regarding rent values for old properties in Bucharest and Ilfov County, these rent values having averagely dropped with 2%.
